Great Place!.
When I first got stationed at Fort Bragg I was obviously looking for a nice place to get great color and cuts. I tried a few places before going to Trendsetters after a recommendation from a friend. The first two times I went to Trendsetters I had a great experience, but didn't feel that I had found a stylist that I would want to come back to, or who REALLY understood what I wanted or what my hair needed to stay healthy.
That all changed when I came back the third time. I have been trying to grow my hair out and had it dark for a long time. I came there wanting some lighter highlights and a trim. Rachele was the stylist who helped me and I have to say-she is GREAT! I felt very welcomed by her and when I told her what I wanted she gave me some great advice-I need to go a little shorter in order for my hair to be healthier and, as a result, prettier! :)
She was awesome! She helped me pick a lighter color to put in my hair which obviously turned out great. She did the cut and some face framing layers which I love! I also must say that she was very friendly and I really had great conversation with her and felt that she genuinely loves her job! I highly recommend her services and will definitely being going back to her from now on!
Oh and I have already gotten TONS of compliments on my new style and color...thanks Rachele! :)

Awesome Stylist "Rena".
After reading SSolomon12's review, I had to write a review ...
First the best stylist is Rena...she has been doing my cut and color for 20+ years and I have never been anything else other than thrilled...she is a very talented professional who is very attentive to her clients...she does have a tendency to get quiet at moments while she is working but it is only because she is so absorbed in what she is doing...she is a very sweet and amazing stylist..I have never been disappointed with any of her suggestions...my 5 year old is extremely shy and she refuses to let anyone but Rena touch her hair and that in my opinion says a lot!!!
The salon itself is beautifully decorated with a very relaxing feel to it. The owner is always nice and friendly with a welcoming smile.
As far as any of the other staff being rude...that is just ridiculous...they are very friendly....especially the little girl next to Renas station...
Maybe ssolomon12 needs to go back to Fantastic Sams or a cosmotology school where she can get a basic boring cut for dirt cheap.....but if you want stylish hair at a great price then you need to go to Trendsetters!!!

Best place in fayetteville.
I usually do not write reviews, but I was so happy with
Rachel and my hair cut that I had to respond and tell every one that I had a great visit at trendsetters from the atmosphere to the stylist ... Everything was perfect!!

Trendsetters Salon. I came in last week for a cut & color. My stylist was Rachel, she was so nice & really listened to what I WANT. Deff recommend coming here. i was shocked to see some bad reviews. I've gotten many compliments on my hair since, happily returning :)

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Trendsetters in Fayetteville is awful. I was looking for a comfortable, modest salon and ended up with a horrible haircut. It was a miserable experience. I am sick of hearing "Its not THAT bad" when people are trying to comfort me about my botched hair cut.
The people I dealt with were unbelievably obnoxious. One woman actually raised her voice because I didn't want highlights.
The woman who ruined, or styled, my hair was rude throughout the process.
You really should avoid this place. It will be a nightmare.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. After reading some of the reviews, I decided to give this place a chance. Wrong, wrong, wrong decision! I asked for a very simple inverted bob and the stylist gave me an asymetrical, completely chopped off on one side more than the other hair cut. It looks awful. It was such a bad experience. She didn't even admit to having messed up my hair. The length on one side was 1 inch larger than the other. This stylist told me she has 10 years of exerience, but in my opinion and judging from her performance, she seems more like a recent graduate from cosmetology school. She had no finesse when dealing with an unstisfied client. I will never go back to this place. I do not recommend it either. Please spend a little bit more money and go somewhere else. I couldn have gotten this cut for $10 at a chain salon like Fantastic Sams. HORRIBLE EXPERIEMCE.

Hair Stylist Lindsey. I normally don't post reviews on these sites but after reading retau's review, I felt a need to respond. I can't speak of her experience but I must say from personal experience, I'm really surprised and shocked about her comments and I'm sorry she feels this way. I would not hesitate (and I do almost weekly) to refer someone to see Lindsey. Lindsey has been cutting my hair now for a few years. I actually left a "high price" salon after she cut my hair for me in a pinch. She has always done as good a job, as the high price stylist cutting my hair, even when she was just starting out. I used to travel all the way across town to have her cut my hair. I work in a professional public environment where clients are coming in and out everyday, so my appearance matters. Not a week goes by where I don't have at least one compliment on my hair. As women, we know how good that makes us feel. I have recommended many people to Lindsey and not one time have I heard someone complain--believe me my clients have no problem letting you know how they feel! If you're considering a hair cut at Trendsetters, I can say confidently, she'll do a great job.
