This is a great place to go with a large group they have a large patio that you can reserve and we always get great service which isn't always the case at other chain restaurants in town. Great food and service are the wining combination.

The Mash House has both great beer and great food. You usually have to pick one or the other but not here! I would highly recommend The Mash house for whatever the occasion.

This place is so cool. Great beer and great food in one place are not always easy to find. Bartenders are all super friendly and they offer beer specials every night of the week!

Great beer. Great food. Great staff. This is the best place to eat in Fayetteville without question. If you have not been then you are missing out.

This place has beer specials every day. You should check it out if you have never been. I love their beer. Can't wait to try the food.

Favorite Brewery. The Mash House is a terrific brewery that also serves food. With that in mind, the experience and the food are good enough to recommend to others, especially for anyone looking for a non-chain option in the Fayetville, NC area. Our server was very attentive and did her best to meet our needs during our meal.

Great Brewery and Restaurant. The only thing bad about Mash House is that you can only get their beer at their restaurants! We wish you would serve in other local establishments or bottle it. We always get a couple of growlers filled up to take home when we visit.

Good menu. Their cobb salad is the best! It's not on the menu anymore but they can still make it! The beer selection is awesome as well!

Worst Meal (Valentine's Day) Won't be back. We've eaten at the mash house several times and have enjoyed mostly good food and good service. Tonight was anything but good. Because this was Valentine's Day we decided to make a reservation to ensure our meal. We arrived at the appointed time (8:45 pm) and were taken through a mostly empty dining room into the covered patio, where we were seated in outdoor seating, which was not really what we'd expected. We complained to the receptionist and the manager came out to see us. She made many excuses as to why she couldn't help us. Apparently if you made a reservation on line you got stuck outside in the patio beside the parking lot. If we had walked in off the street we could have eaten in the dining room. She offered to give us a discount on our meal, but we refused because we wanted inside seating not eating out in the parking lot. The server was MIA from the time she took our order until we received our food. When we got our order I asked for the ticket so we wouldn't get stuck waiting for her again. Upon examination, half of our order was wrong, but since it had taken 40 mins to get our food we decided just to eat and then leave. When we got our ticket, it turned out to be much more than I expected and turned out to be some else's ticket. Called the manager again. This time when she offered to comp the meal we accepted, paid for the alcohol (1 beer) and got out of there. Terrible hostess, manager, wait staff, cook, the only one on the ball was the bartender, and he got a tip. Good selection if you go there for the beer, but don't waste your time eating there.

A Meal To Remember. For a town that has attracted an overabundance of chain restaurants (with similar menus), The Mash House is a welcome escape. The decor is nice - not too fancy, not too casual - for couples and business associates and friends alike. The only drawback would be their building, which is designed for great acoustics (a drawback in a dining establishment). Depending on the hour, it can feel like a noisy subway station...or not.

The food is topnotch, though. If my husband were writing this he would give the home brews an A+. We also love the oven roasted artichoke and spinach dip, and I'm a particular fan of their salads. I am a vegetarian, and it's one of the few places I can find quality food at a reasonable price. I'd have to disagree with another reviewer who called it inexpensive, though. Your typical entree will cost $10-$60, so it might not be a place to bring the whole family unless you're in a generous mood. At the Mash House you get what you pay for, which is an amazing meal that is always worth the wait....and for those of us who value quality, as well, it's sure worth the price.
